On our way!

I'm trying to post this blog from my phone so fingers crossed it works! We actually didn't get to leave Monday because the union hall was closed for the holiday and Russ has to sign the union books on our way. It's almost 4 AM Tuesday and we are near Festus. The dogs aren't quite sure what to think! It's pretty cozy in the truck. I have some pics to post that my mom took when we were leaving. She came over at 2:30 to see us off.

We found out on Friday that our beagle Spot has kidney failure. They said maybe three months but she isn't doing well so I think we will be lucky to have her that long.

We rented a tow dolly to pull my car behind Russ' truck. After the car was almost loaded with our stuff we discovered that we have to drop the drive shaft in order to pull my car! Russ was not happy! So, I had to take it to a mechanic to take it off and we will have to have it put back on in Minnesota. But I got $50 back off the tow dolly rent cost!
