It snowed yesterday afternoon and last night. The snow had mostly melted, but the ground is white again! There is a casino not far from here. We checked it out, but it wasn't very good. Mostly penny slots, only about 4 tables, and no alcohol! We didn't really consider that a casino! Lol!
We've played the wii and flipped between the two tv channels we have. Russ' friend Jim is coming to eat dinner tomorrow night. I am fixing chicken and dumplins!
The pictures are a fresh walleye sandwich, what Minnesota calls a casino, trucks and fishing huts on the ice which is where the Mississippi River begins, a mini city of huts on the ice, and Minneapolis.

It looks cold but I was expecting to see more snow! Are you going to try the ice fishing?
I don't think I'm brave enough to try the ice fishing!! They say the ice is like 14 inches deep, but it still makes me nervous! I think Russ might try it. The guy who owns the resort is supposed to take him. If he goes I'll blog about it and I'll try to get him to take pics!! I also thought there would be a lot more snow. It is supposed to snow this week. I'm not sure how much though. The TV stations we get are from Minneapolis and that's almost 4 hours away. I've noticed their forecast isn't usually what happens for us! I've been relying on my weather app.
